In the Bad Godesberg district of Bonn stands the estate with the Villa Stella Rheni at its center. The magnificent building impresses not only with its spacious park and stately driveway, but also with a wonderful view of the Siebengebirge. The Star of the Rhine is one of the most exclusive event venues and perfect for any kind of event.
Originally intended as a summer residence for the prestigious von der Heydt family, Stella Rheni was built by renowned architects at the end of the 19th century.
Standing at the entrance next to the Bismarck Tower, you feel transported back to 1898. By the way, it was built on the occasion of the international chess tournament. Villa Stella Rheni can look back on an exciting history and many prominent guests. Among others, the poet Rainer Maria Rilke was a guest and enjoyed the extraordinary ambience. From 1927, it housed the hardworking students of the Jesuit Order boarding school.
The building has been a listed landmark since 2006.
